The content is informational, not professional advice
Koh Lipe Guide is a travel website. It’s written from a dive instructor’s experience and is intended to help you plan a trip. It is not a substitute for:
- Professional medical advice (including dive medicine)
- Maritime safety briefings from a licensed operator
- Legal or financial advice
- Immigration advice
If you’re doing anything where the stakes matter — diving beyond your certification, travelling on a dodgy visa, taking medication for travel illness — talk to a qualified professional. The content on this site is a starting point, not a substitute.

Koh Lipe involves water, weather, boats, reefs, sea creatures, remote islands, and Thai traffic. All of those carry risk. We share our best knowledge about how to enjoy them safely, but we can’t guarantee your experience will be risk-free, and we’re not responsible for injury, loss, theft, damage, or bad experiences that happen to you on your trip.
If a tour operator, dive shop, accommodation, or restaurant we mention turns out to be a bad experience — we’re sorry, and please let us know so we can update the site — but we’re not responsible for their service.

- Use individual facts (prices, times, contact info) in your own planning

We update this site often. We may change these terms occasionally — the “updated” date at the top reflects the last change.
Law
These terms are governed by Thai law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of Satun Provincial Court, Thailand.
